How to Help?
There are many ways that YOU can help our department. As you may already know, The Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. We are an independent corporation that receives a small percentage of our operating expenses from Culpeper County. The remaining operating cost are paid for through fund-raising events and donations.
Join our Team?
We are always looking for new members, department and/or auxiliary members are always needed. It takes people to make the operation run and also raise money. If you are interested in joining the department or the auxiliary, please take a look at the respective pages:
Send a Donation?
As you can imagine, it takes a lot of money to purchase and maintain the buildings, apparatuses and other expenses that are needed to respond to house fires, vehicle accidents, EMS calls, etc. If you wish to donate to The Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department, you can do so multiple ways:
Do we only need money?
Absolutely not! If you have cars sitting around that you don't know what to do with them, we will come pick them up (thanks to the generosity of Rosson & Troilo) and use them for training. What about houses? If you have an abandoned house and want to donate it to us, we will gladly use it for training. Depending on the location and other factors, we will leave a pile of ash when we are done. That's less hassle for you and an easy tax deduction!
If you have something that you think would benefit the fire department in any way, please don't hesitate to contact us.
