Fire Threatens Farm Machinery

Posted by: | CommentsDispatched for a Dump Truck Rollover on Greens Corner Road. Chief-2 arrived on scene to find a dump truck on its passenger side with one patient that had self extricated. Vehicle was secured and fluid leaks were controlled by Pumper-2 and Rescue Engine-1. Patient refusal was obtained by ems personal on scene. Pumper-2 and Chief-2 remained on scene for traffic control and fire protection while recovery personal removed the vehicle. Pumper-2s crew washed down the roadway to make it safe for motorists, all units cleared and Greens Corner Road was reopened.

Head on Collision on Rt. 29
Posted by: | CommentsDispatched for a 2 vehicle MVA on Rte 29 north of Greens Corner Road. Pumper-2 arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved in a head on collision with three patients. Company 11 personnel obtained two patient refusals and transported third patient to CRH. Pumper-2 remained on scene to assist the Sheriffs Deputies and State Police with traffic control. Once the vehicles were removed Pumper-2′s crew washed down the roadway to make it safe for motorists, all units cleared and Rte 29 was reopened.

Brush Fire 9/14
Posted by: | CommentsCompany 1 and 10 were dispatched to a brush fire on September 14. Engine 1 marked on scene with heavy fire threatening a structure and requested additional brush units and a structural assignment which added companies 2,8,16,and 1102 to the run. Chief 1 had Command with Captain 2 as Operations, units had the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes and spent another hour moping up with no damage to threatened structures
